Reveal the land
Spend $ATLAS to explore a tile hidden in the fog. Whatever land is sitting there gets uncovered. You did not pick it, you found it.
Meridian is one big map of a made-up world, and it starts out blank. You spend a coin called $ATLAS to explore a tile and reveal what is hiding there: sea, plains, forest, desert, mountains or ice. Whatever you find is yours to keep and name, and when someone explores the tile next to yours, they pay you.
Spend $ATLAS to explore a tile hidden in the fog. Whatever land is sitting there gets uncovered. You did not pick it, you found it.
Every tile you explore is yours. You give it a name, and that name is saved on the blockchain for good. No one can take it or change it.
Here is the best part. When someone explores a tile next to yours, half of what they spend is paid straight to you. Own tiles in busy areas and the map pays you again and again.
When a whole chunk of the map is explored, it becomes a one of a kind Chart you can collect. Holding a Chart also pays you ETH, more on that below.
The more people explore, the more people get paid, so the more people explore. It keeps itself going.
They spend $ATLAS to uncover new tiles.
Half of each cost goes to the tiles next door.
That income pays for the next expedition.
There are 100 million $ATLAS, and that is all there will ever be. Every single one goes into the trading pool at launch. The team keeps none, and there are no locked tokens waiting to drop on you.
This is the whole supply. It is fixed forever, and no more can ever be made.
The entire supply goes into the Uniswap pool at launch. The market is the only place to get it.
Every buy and sell pays a 5% fee. It is taken in real ETH, never in the token, so the supply is never watered down.
Half of that ETH goes to people holding a Chart, half to people staking $ATLAS. Real ETH, straight to your wallet.
Somewhere on the map there is a tile no one has explored yet. Open the Atlas, uncover it, and put your name on it. You do not need a wallet just to look around.
